The LeMesurier project kicked off a series of two deep-dive webinars to share its results and methodologies, aiming to inspire and support other projects in the 2ZERO Partnership. The first session, “On-Boarding to the LeMesurier Methods,” gathered over 40 participants and was particularly aimed at newly launched 2ZERO projects, mainly Project Coordinators, Technical and Scientific Coordinators, and evaluation or impact assessment managers. Participants were introduced to the project’s vision, tools, and methods designed to accelerate progress toward zero-emission road transport.
Introducing LeMesurier
Opening the session, Simon Edwards (Ricardo), LeMesurier Technical Coordinator, presented an overview of the project and its role within the 2ZERO ecosystem. LeMesurier, a Coordination and Support Action, is designed to measure progress towards the 2ZERO Partnership’s SRIA objectives and KPIs, helping projects understand and demonstrate their impact toward zero-emission road transport.
As part of its efforts, the LeMesurier team have surveyed 2ZERO projects to assess their contributions to the Partnership’s objectives through a comprehensive questionnaire. The results show that many are already showing strong progress.
Simon also introduced LeMesurier’s Digital Twin, developed to evaluate projected technologies across the 2ZERO project portfolio. Preliminary results will be showcased at the TaP International Conference in Paris on 5 November.
2ZERO partnership monitoring and KPIs
Benedetta Trignani, monitoring and reporting officer at EGVIAfor2Zero, presented an overview of the 2ZERO Partnership’s monitoring and reporting framework, highlighting the importance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as tools to measure R&I effectiveness. She explained how LeMesurier contributes to this process by identifying direct and compound KPIs and by integrating results from various 2ZERO EU-funded projects.
Her presentation also outlined the broader evaluation activities within the Partnership, including the biennial monitoring reports, In-Kind Additional Activities (IKAA) reports, and investment tracking in operational activities, all essential for maintaining a clear view of the Partnership’s progress.
The webinar concluded with an open discussion, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions and reflect on the implications for their own projects. Topics included what the LeMesurier results mean for new projects, how to share lessons learned from those working within similar clusters, and how each project contributes to the bigger picture of achieving the 2ZERO Partnership’s objectives.
The webinar wrapped up with an interactive discussion, allowing participants to pose questions and explore the relevance of LeMesurier’s findings for their own projects.
